Sydney and Inter-State riders who are competing in the First round of the National MTBO Series here’s your opportunity. If you want to arrive and depart in style here's the trip for you!
The cost is $79 and this covers transport of you, your bike and gear for the weekend, full agenda below.
Transport will leave on Saturday morning (March 20, 2010) and we will back in Sydney on Sunday afternoon (March 21, 2010).
Tentative Itinerary for weekend is as follows:
Collection point #1
North Sydney* 8:30am, Bike Bug – 120 Pacific Hwy North Sydney
Parking is readily available in the area.
Collection point #2
Sydney Domestic Airport 9:00am
- Stop to collect food/lunch in Blue Mountains Area.
- Arrive for race at Sunny Corner for race 1:00pm
After race on Saturday
- Transport riders and bikes to overnight accommodation in Lithgow area on Saturday afternoon.**
Sunday morning
- Transport riders and bikes to Duckmaloi State Forest on Sunday morning.
- Transport from Duckmaloi State Forest around 2:00pm on the Sunday. Allowing us to be at Sydney Domestic Airport around 5:30pm.***
Space is limited to 18 riders so book early to get your comfy spot on the bus!
Our specially made bike trailer can transport bikes which are 'made up' or for those travelling from inter-state we can easily transport your bike in travel cases or boxes.

On 20/21 March 2010, there are two mountain bike orienteering events on the western side of the Blue Mountains - at Lidsdale State Forest on Saturday, and Duckmaloi (Jenolan) State Forest on Sunday. It is the first round of the National MTBO Series, and is serving as the selection trials for the 2010 Australian MTBO team.
